El eurodance es un subestilo de la música dance, típico de los 90 (1992-1996) en Europa, Oceanía y Sudamérica. Sus orígenes están en el dance y el pop. Es un estilo que aunque es dance, es muy comercial (el dance normal no lo es), sus canciones suelen ser bastante radiadas y populares. Estas canciones, se suelen incluir, además de recopilatorios dance, en recopilatorios de pop. Suele tener voces femeninas, trozos masculinos rapeados, o voces masculinas (menos común).
Formado en Alemania cuando Natalie Horler unió fuerzas con Dj Manian y Yanou. El amor de Natalie por la música vino de su padre que era músico (jazz). Ella practicaba cantando canciones de Disney y copiando clásicos del jazz en el estudio de su casa, mientras tanto cerraba el circulo aumentando sus habiliades con clases de baile y actuación. Este portafolio no dejo lugar a dudas para hacer famosas las presentaciones en vivo de gran energía. Sus mejores hits, Miracle y Everytime We Touch.
Aunque la letra de las canciones es en ocasiones muy romantica, la música es sencillamente genial, la mezcla de la música electrónica con la voz de Natalie crean canciones excelentes, con mucha energía, creando un ambiente de cierta euforia, a eso es a lo que se referia la revista Rolling Stone con el termino “High-Energy Performance”.
