La música pop (del inglés pop music, contracción de popular music) es un género de música popular que tuvo su origen a finales de los años 1950 como una derivación del tradicional pop, en combinación con otros géneros musicales que estaban de moda en aquel momento. Los términos música pop y música popular se usan a menudo de manera indistinta, aunque el segundo tiene un sentido más amplio al dar cabida a otros géneros distintos del pop que se consideren populares.
Leona Louise Lewis (Londres, Inglaterra; 3 de abril de 1985) es una cantante de R&B y Pop británica ganadora de la tercera edición del reality show "The X Factor" de Reino Unido.
Ha sido comparada por la crítica con cantantes de la talla de Mariah Carey, Céline Dion y Whitney Houston a quienes también nombra como sus principales influencias musicales además de Tracy Chapman, Kate Bush y Tears For Fears quienes también influyeron en su estilo y género. Su primer sencillo "A Moment Like This" (Original de Kelly Clarkson) logró batir un récord mundial al ser descargada 50.000 veces en menos de 30 minutos, y su segundo single "Bleeding Love" ha sido número 1 en Europa.
