Billy Ocean es un cantante nacido en la isla de Trinidad y Tobago que emigró a Inglaterra para dedicarse, a partir de los años setenta, a la música. Entre sus éxitos, se pueden destacar las canciones "When The Going Gets Tough", "The Tough Gets Going" (parte de la banda sonora de la película La joya del Nilo), "Suddenly", "Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car", "Caribbean Queen", "Loverboy" y "There'll Be Sad Songs To Make You Cry".
